BCU Pro-Ag at Macksville is the Mid North Coast's premier field day event, attracting more than 7,000 people through the gates of the Macksville Showground. One day per year, Farmers and townsfolk alike can visit stands belonging to industry, view poultry and even sample the produce of the local region.

2011 BCU Pro-Ag was the most successful for many years. There was a great range of businesses that attended (around 80), we had close to 9,000 people through the gates. We had over 80 cars in our Shannon's Show 'n' Shine and next year we are thinking of adding a 4wd category, which is sure to bring more people out.

We have already had over 20 exhibitors sign up again for the 2012 event & are still getting more bookings. More exhibitor sites have been added. One exhibitor has even added an extra 2 sites for next year. This year we tried free buses to & from Pro Ag through out the 2 day event, also a petting zoo, mower racing, working dog demos & more kid's entertainment. This all worked well and we will repeat all these next year plus more new exciting things.

With so many people bringing their beloved dogs out to join in the fun at Pro Ag 2011, we have decided to have a Dog Show/Parade for all the dog lovers. We are always looking for new ways to attract more people to Pro Ag and in 2012 we have already booked Eljay Freestyle Entertainment, which is an action packed motorcycle & bicycle trials. This will keep the crowd on the edge of their seats. We are also trying to get approved a 4wd Demo Track which will be run by The Kempsey District 4wd Club.

Rotary Club of Macksville Over $2000 was raised this year. Members are grateful for the opportunity provided by Pro Ag & congratulate them on a great show.

Hastings Solar Best year I have attended, the event was heavily advertised all over, very pleased.

Crocodile Creek Distributing, ?Had we not had the thunderstorm hit at 1.30pm on Saturday, this would have been my best Pro Ag ever!
